British Doctors To Perform Surgery On Swayze

March 17, 2008

Patrick Swayze has been catching some heat for being photographed smoking just days after news broke of him having terminal cancer. But there might be help for him on the horizon.

A team of British surgeons wants to step in to perform a possibly life-saving surgery on Swayze. The doctors of the Royal Free Hospital in London think he's a great candidate for a radical new medical technique that involves reworking a patient's veins. Performed for the first time in December, the surgery is expected to save hundreds of lives per year. For all the patients sake, hope this surgery is a hit!

"reworking your veins"? UGH! That just sounds sickening! If I ever get cancer, I think I would rather die than go through that horrific sounding surgery. I'm not afraid of death...
