Patricia Heaton to Play Stressed out Mom in New Role

Patricia Heaton is heading back to TV. And she won’t have to do too much research into her role, since it sounds eerily similar to the one she played on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Heaton will play a mom in the new comedy The Middle, which centers around a Midwestern family. She beat out Ricki Lake for the role, who was the original pick.

Hopefully The Middle will be more successful for Patricia than Back To You which got canceled last May.
