Partridge Family To Return To TV

Come on, get happy! The Partridge Family is planning on returning to the tube. But this version won't star Danny Bonaduce and David Cassidy. NBC has picked up the remake of the classic from Sony, and it will be written by Jeff Rake, who wrote Cashmere Mafia. The show will take a bit of a tongue-in-cheek, modern day approach to the story.

Rake says, He says The Partridge Family re-do "will reflect what seems to me to be the more realistic family band scenario these days: a struggling, sort of well-meaning mom pimping her kids in order to create a wholesome-slash-sexy cash cow."

But we already have that show! It's called Living Lohan…
