Even though she’s been putting on a brave face through everything her family has gone through, it’s been reported that Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital late last night after an apparent suicide attempt.
The hospital received the 911 call at 1:27 a.m. and said Paris might have overdosed, but a source with the hospital said cutting was involved.
She was taken to a hospital near her home in Calabasas and TMZ is reporting that she’s doing OK.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department tells Hollyscoop: "On Wednesday, June 5, at 1:27AM, Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station deputies of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and Los Angeles County Firefighters responded to a medical situation on Prada de la Felicidad in Calabasas. As a result, medical treatment was provided to a patient, who was transported to a hospital."
Considering what the Jackson kids have gone through, they always seemed very well adjusted, but Paris had been posting some disturbing tweets in the last few days.
Yesterday she wrote, “You say I need therapy, well, my darling, so do you. Don’t need for you to tell me what is wrong in all I say or do.”
“Don’t listen to a word I say, the screams all sound the same,” she wrote on Monday.
“I wonder why tears are salty?” she wrote last night and about an hour before the 911 call was made she wrote, “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”
Paris' biological mom Debbie Rowe confirmed to "ET" that Paris did try to commit suicide and is currently resting in the hospital. "She's had a lot going on [lately]," says Rowe.
UPDATE: A source closely connected to Paris tells TMZ ... she has "tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."
UPDATE 2: A source close to the Jackson family tells ET that the reason 15-year-old Paris Jackson tried to commit suicide in the early morning hours was because she was upset that she was not allowed to go to rock musician Marilyn Manson’s concert. Marilyn Manson is set to be at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Thursday, June 6, 2013.
