Paris Jackson. biography
Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson was born on April 3, 1998, in Beverly Hills and is best known as the only daughter and second child of the late Pop-King Michael Jackson. Paris’ biological mother, Debbie Rowe, relinquished custody of her as well as her older brother, Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., after divorcing Michael in October 1999. Shortly after Michael passed away due to an apparent overdose on June 25, 2009, Paris and her brothers, Prince and Prince Michael Jackson II “Blanket,” came under the legal guardianship of their grandmother Katherine Jackson.
Despite only being 11-years-old at the time of her father’s death and enduring the mass publicity that followed soon after, Paris continues to amaze the public with her maturity, perseverance and ability to stay out of the limelight while amongst a celebrity-infused environment. When she does make a public appearance, she selects informative and positive media platforms, specifically when she accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award for Michael at the 2010 Grammy Awards and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey series Next Chapter (2012) in which she discussed being a victim of cyber bullying.
