Visitor's Day For Paris Hilton

June 17, 2007

It was Paris Hilton’s favorite day of the week: Visitor’s Day! Paris got a visit from her sister Nicky with her boyfriend David Katzenberg along with Julie Araskoh, who happens to be a longtime friend of the Hilton family.

They arrived at the medical clinic of the women’s jail in Lynwood, CA where Paris has been staying since returning back to Lynwood.

The visit was short and sweet and Nicky was seen leaving a small red package behind perhaps for her sister as she was leaving the facility.

J Brookfield, you need to calm down. many people who have commited the same crime (yes, violation of probation) are sentenced to serve the same amount of time, often because their original crime was a DUI or DWI. I'm not convinced that this "report of all time served and early releases" wasn't put out by her camp - because all the people i've ever known to get popped for stuff like this, they are sentenced to the same amount of time! AND they serve it.

The whole thing is disgraceful Paris Hilton hasn't, and isn't being treated 'like everyone else'. She is being treated FAR more harshly. This is simply NOT justice. THE SENTENCE The sentence in the first place was pretty abnormal for the scneario: it was incredibly harsh by usual LA standards for this type offence. So straight off the bat, she wasn't treated 'like everyone else', but worse. THE EARLY RELEASE Then the early release: it is normal for this type of offender to serve around 10% of the sentence before being released. There are several reasons for that, but it is a fact. She was released after 10%... but Mr so-called Judge enters the fray and throws her back into jail (which is presumably why she screamed 'This isn't right' in court). It wasn't right... because.... again she wasn't treated 'like everyone else', but worse. THE MEDICATION And that is even before you look at her serious medical problems. She is clearly disturbed in some way. Her perception is consequently warped and frankly 45 days may well seem like 45 years to her. Has any of this been taken into account by the 'judge' that jailed her? Of course not. Yet again, she hasn't been treated 'like everyone else', but worse. The reality is that a sick woman is being subjected to extended unjustified cruelty, whilst the baying masses roar their approval. It is sick and it is horrible and it is upsetting....

why the hell would i support someone who is in jail for a crime they actually committed? do i feel bad for murderers or drug dealers that are in jail? no! why should i feel bad for paris hilton? She could have killed someone driving drunk so let her suffer the consenquences. She is no different from anyone else

To put up with the hatred out there, Paris must have far greater character than people give her credit. This has shown a very ugly and dark side of America. It would have been nice to have seen people supporting her.
