Paris Hilton may be in jail debating who her true self really is, but the big debate is going on outside the court house. Rev. Al Sharpton (founder/ president of the National Action Network) met with Sheriff Lee Baca to discuss why the heiress was released from jail.
The Reverend is concerned that Paris is getting special treatment and wants to intervene in the media circus. After his meeting with the Sheriff the Reverend had a press conference which he gave reporters a summary.
"I told him what prompted this is the feeling that ... there is an unfairness in how reassignment and early releases have been meted out."
In the meantime, Paris Hilton’s lawyer Richard Hutton disagrees that the heiress is getting any special treatment. Richard revealed that Paris is in the jail's medical ward and is "being treated the same as everyone else in jail. She is receiving no preferential treatment."
It was also revealed today that Paris is in the medical ward because she suffers from Attention Deficit Disorder and claustrophobia. These two conditions were what triggered the Sheriff’s decision to release her from Lynwood Jail. Hilton is apparently taking Adderall for her sickness and freaked out during her first two days because she was not equipped with her drugs.
The question goes, special treatment or a drug relapse? Tell us your thoughts.
