Sarah Silverman Picks On Paris Hilton

It was obvious that Paris Hilton was going to be the target to Sarah Silverman's jokes at the MTV Movie Awards. Sure in shit it happened! Sarah took some shots at Hilton during the show.

She told the audience, "In a couple of days, Paris Hilton is going to jail."

"The judge says that it's going to be a no-frills thing and that is ridiculous. She is totally going to get special treatment," Silverman said.

"As a matter of fact, I heard that to make her feel more comfortable in prison, the guards are going to paint the bars to look like penises. I think it's wrong, too. I just worry that she's going to break her teeth on those things."

What do you guys think, did she go a little too far or was it hilarious?

People need to realize that Sarah's humor is just her poking fun at things in pop culture and/or socity at large just like any other comedian. And to thank Paris didn't bring those comments on to herself is to be truly niave, I mean honestly if anyone of us were to do what she did we would get a year, or at least six months, in prison. Hosts at award shows, all kinds of award shows, make fun of many nominees or attendees. Whether it was funny or not is up to you--no one can dictate to you what to laugh at. If you were watching the show you probably know the type of humor MTV employs in it's shows. I don't understand any defense for Paris. Being arrested/detained for DUI twice and then being pulled over a THIRD time is inexcusable--celeb or not! Add her racist comments and those comments about social class and status, well, it sickens me that such actions are defended and belittled. America gives us many liberties and privileges but money does not give you a waiver to the consequences. A sign of the times when people think Paris Hilton is a positive icon; and yes I hate myself for indulging this urge to post here.

As it has been pointed out before, Paris is notdumb, she has had to be smart to pull off some of the things that she has, it just makes her more money to appear dingy. She is most assuredly smart enough to know that people get into trouble when they get stopped for drinking and driving! There is NO WAY she "didn't know" she was supposed to be driving and the fact that she was pulled over a second time only proves, as usual, she learned nothing. Her biggest problem is and will remain that her parents (especially Mommy) think that she is not supposed to get into trouble for anything! Her Mom and Dad have been going to clubs with both if their daughters since they were WELL below the legal age to get in, much less drink, but again, because of who they are, they think it should be okay. I think that alot of the blame for who she is as a person lies on her Mom! You should never teach nor allow your children to break the law forANY reason, or to make fun of people, races or circumstance. ALOT of her behaviors are because of what she has learned or been taught. Also, I am glad that this judge did his job. He should have given her time for her blatant ignorance of others lives and the law! If it had been anyone else-not famous- they would be doing more time than Paris is whining about! The stars generally get by with murder, sometimes literally!! I think there are so many things that Paris can learn from this, if only she chooses to do so, which I doubt. One of those being that she knows the people that hang out with her and invite her to their parties etc, are not her friends. The truth is, she probably has very few REAL friends. She has LOTS of people who hang out with her because of what they get or where they think it will get them and they care less about her. She also needs to learn that she should be acting her age and the list goes on. Someone that spends every single day of their life partying and shopping and getting their way is going to WIG OUT in solitary confinement- as she has shown after just a few hours. Hopefully she will be a better person.Let's hope she doesn't do like those who "go into rehab" to get help and can't stay away from a bar for a single day when they get out, otherwise the next time she goes to jail, it may be for the life of the family she kills while behind the wheel drunk!! (You may want to read that part to Lindsey!) As for Sarah Siverman's comments: it was Sarah Siverman! The same no talented person that I have yet to think is funny in ANYTHING that she has said or done! She is blasfemous and cruel and doesn't have a dry sense of humor- she just has none! She is always attacking others and I really don't understand why she has afforded the amount of success that she has thus far. First of all, I don't like Sarah Silverman. However, in this case I'll make an exception. Sarah wasn't hard enough on her. The only way Sarah could have gone overboard in my eyes is this scenario... *fantasy wavy screen effect* After the last joke, Sarah pulls out two daggers dripping covered in salt and tabasco sauce. She jumps off stage, runs up to Paris and then sticks the points in Paris' eyes, twists them a bit, and then drives the blades on home into her brain. Then Jack Nicholson makes a joke and everyone laughs harder. That would have satisfied me. If Sarah squatted over Paris' twitching corpse and pooped into the empty cavities where eyes once were, that would have been overdoing it and I probably would have been grossed out. Also, I hope people who like Paris get some kind of terminal disease within the next few days, preferably a painful one.
