Paris Won't Serve Full Sentence

Nothing new here, but Paris Hilton has been the talk of the town for the past week. She was sentenced to 45 days in prison last Friday and since then the media has not stopped talking about the heiress.

The L.A. County sheriff's officials told The Times today that the heiress might not even spend the full 45 days in jail. This is probably going to make all the people that were happy she was going to jail pretty upset.

Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that the heiresses sentence could be cut in half if she behaves in prison. Also, overcrowding in the jail system could further reduce the time she spends in custody. Basically, she’s not gonna spend more than a week in jail.

I am surprised that the media has even bothered to carry the story, due to the fact that EVERYONE in Los Angeles knows, unless you are a murder you don't do a moment in JAIL, anyone. The system in Los Angeles is so filled with REAL criminals that it simply does not have time to carry out sentences due to 'Over Crowding' seems to be the FAD of the last half decade. She will gets community service for a local police station of some sort and that will be all, folks!! "P"abba "H"abba do!

Yeah oo, but most of the people send a desent amount of time in jail. Not a little more then a week. She is probably only going to stay for a week and maybe two or three days. tops, and that's not right. She should serve her time. Period.

as much as i think that paris deserves to go to jail..its good to hear that she wont be serving the full 45 days because most regular people dont either..so its only fair for her as well

Even a week where she has to spend 23 hours a day in her cell with only her own vapid mind keeping her company (and that atrocious prison food) will have her climbing the walls. But I really hope it's at least three weeks. The full 45 days would be reason to party like it's 1999!
