Paris Phones Barbara Walters

June 11, 2007

Paris Hilton made a phone call to Barbara Walters on Sunday to talk about her state of mind. On Monday's edition of The View, Walters told her co-hosts that Hilton "sounded tired but totally aware of what she was saying."

According to Walters, Hilton said: "I feel as if I'm a different person. I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance."

The heiress even told Walters that she's interested in doing charity work, like serving for breast cancer and is considering opening up a Playhouse for sick children.

She went on to tell Walters that she hasn't "looked in a mirror since [she] got here."

So do you guys buy into all this? Do you think Paris is a changed woman in just 9 days? She still has another 14 days to go...which pretty much equals 42 more Paris headlines in the press.

I don't know about you people, but I REALLLLY don't care to read about or look at this girl's pics. She is not interesting AT ALL, she is not good looking, smart, or talented, can we get over it already! geez!

Paris is such a phony. She clames that "she use to act dumb, but that is not the real her", but so many times she said I am just being myself. What a fucken lying she is.

No Paris fan: It is not the judge's fault. He is probably the only person who told this chick "No" and meant it. Everyone around her kissed her ass like that Sheriff, the judge didn't. She violated her probation not once but twice. Words mean nothing to her so maybe a jail cell will help her understand. But as far as this carthasis, I hope she learns something and takes something out of this. But I have the feeling she will be right back at the club partying when she gets out!!!

This girl is SO deserving of a hard slap, which why the judge, prosecutor and public at large (everyone else) wanted her back behind bars. Forget Barbara, she is a media whore, Hilton meanwhile can't keep her name out of the press for even a week. And, don't kid yourself, she is still receiving special treatment but oh how far the mighty have fallen. I predict this is the end of her as a media darling.

This is another good example of how far off the map Barbra's gone from credibility. She used to be somewhat of a respected journalist but now w/her gossipy View and phoning Paris for an "exclusive interview" she looks more like the female Larry King to me.

Paris is only telling you all what you want to hear. Since when can a leopard change it's spots? It'll only be a matter of time and you'll see that Paris is still the vain and useless girl she was before.

It will be interesting to see how she behaves once she's out again. It was the Sheriff, not the judge who made it a media circus by the way.

My my. So judgmental. She says she'll never drink and drive again. If that's all that comes out of this, it's a great thing. But she's also reading "The Secret" and "The Power of Now?" Good for her!

Paris needs to hire a new publicist. She's looking more foolish every day.

Amazingly between Friday and Sunday, Paris found God. Also she is going to get involved in a charity when she gets free. Seems to me a person should get involved in a charity from the heart, not for a kick start to improve a damaged celebrity status. And all this since Friday? I hear the Neverland Ranch is for sale, maybe she could buy this for the Paris Playhouse.

How ridiculous. She found God in jail? Reminds me of the Dennis Miller observation that it seems God was avoiding some of the rat bastards who "found" Him. ("Paris? Not that A-hole! Taxi!!!") Barbara Walters has lost a lot of respect in my eyes. She's far too cosy with some of the worst celebrities.

I certainly hope Paris has changed her way of thinking. I still think she got a raw deal out of all of this sheriff / judge hoopla. I think they used her as a celebrity example. Did any of you ever hear of someone getting out of jail on house arrest and then the judge ordering them back. She didn't have time to violate the terms of her conditions. The Judge made a media circus out of this. Shame on him.
