Paris Hilton Offered Plea Deal in Cocaine Arrest

Paris Hilton may be able to get off without any jail time! The heiress has reportedly been offered a plea deal in her drug arrest, according to E! News.

Sources tell them that if Hilton accepts the deal, she will plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges—one drug count and one count of lying to a police officer.

Paris is still due in court October 27—and that she cannot get out of. The initial offense she was charged with was possession of a felony-controlled substance.

Hilton’s lawyer David Chesnoff has not commented on the alleged deal being offered to his client.

A spokeswoman for the Clark County District Attorney's Office said in a statement, "Possession of a controlled substance is a felony punishable by a minimum term of one year and a maximum term of four years. She may also be fined up to $5,000. This charge is probationable, so the court could sentence her to a term of probation, rather than prison time."

If we were Paris, we’d take the plea deal for sure! She didn’t fare too well in jail last time around, and this one is out of state! Yeah, she’ll have some community service to do, but that’s always better than being behind bars!
