Paris and The Love Guru Win Big at The Razzies

Oscars, schmoscars! The real talent pool is at the Razzie Awards! And this year, it was made pretty clear that The Love Guru is not a good movie. The film managed to pull in three different Razzies. But this time around, Jessica Alba was spared! Mike Myers “won” for Worst Actor of the year, while the film was named Worst Picture, and Worst Screenplay. Double ouch for Myers since he wrote the script as well.

Paris Hilton “won” Worst Actress for her riveting role in The Hottie And The Nottie. We so didn’t see that coming! And just in case Paris thought it was a fluke, the Razzies went ahead and named her Worst Supporting Actress as well for her work in Repo: The Genetic Opera. And the fun doesn’t stop there! Paris was given the Razzie for Worst On-Screen Couple with either Christine Lakin or Joel David Moore in The Hottie And The Nottie.

The Razzies certainly aren’t subtle! When they hate a film or an actor, they pretty tear them down as much as humanly possible. Well, all we can say is, better luck next year. Maybe Jessica Simpson and Sly Stallone will both come out with films next year, becoming automatic shoe-ins for Razzies.
