Investors of Paris' Pledge This movie blamed their heiress for the movie being such a huge flop and they wanted her to pay up. Um...maybe it was just a bad movie! Ever think about that?
They dragged Paris to court and tried to sue her for $8 million dollars claiming she didn't "promote" the movie enough. If there's anything Paris is good at, it's self-promotion. And the judge agreed.
U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno agreed that Paris shouldn't be held responsible for the movie being a flop, and shouldn't have to pay the $8 million the investors are asking, but she could still have to repay some of the $1 million she was paid to make the film.
The judge on Tuesday ordered lawyers to file more legal papers in the coming weeks on that issue, so more details coming soon!
Do you think Paris was responsible for the movie being such a huge flop? Or was it just a bad movie period?
