Hilton Cuts Hilton's Inheritance

July 30, 2007

Paris Hilton has to step up her game because according to Jerry Oppenheimer, author of House Of Hilton, the heiress will no longer inherit $59 million dollars from her billionaire grandfather, William ‘Barron’ Hilton.

The heiresses recent behavior has sent her family in shame and Barron Hilton has decided to cut not only Paris but the rest of his 11 grandchildren from the $2.4 billion fortune.

"He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris," says Jerry Oppenheimer, author of House Of Hilton. "He doesn't want to leave unearned wealth to his family."

So, who will get the big junk of his money? Hilton has decided his money will be much more worthy if he donates it to a charitable foundation rather than hand it down to spoiled brats.

Hey, Paris did say she wanted to do more for charitable causes after her release from prison. Let’s just say her grandfather did that for her.

I really think people should pass a spelling and grammar test before trying to pass themselves off as writers and journalists.

Paris earned about 200 million last year according to reports I have read. I don't think an inheritance of 60 million means that much to her.

Paris' grandfather is William Barron Hilton, not Conrad. In his book Oppenheimer actually says that there is only about $60 million to be divided among the 11 grandchildren. Conrad Hilton, the chain's founder, did leave pretty well all of his estate to a charitable trust when he died, but his son (Paris' grandad) took it to court and got back a chunk.
