What happens when you put a bunch of ex's and frenemies together under the same roof? A whole lotta drama! Last night's 'Complex' party hosted by Travis Barker at club Area was like high school all over again...but with prettier people.
Paris Hilton showed up with her boytoy Josh Henderson and the two hung out at their own VIP table on one side of the club, presumably to avoid the Barkers. Paris and Shanna didn't cross paths so there were no punches thrown. Paris and Travis didn't say hi to each other either, the heiress was too busy canoodling with her own man.
To our suprise Paris seemed really mellow with her new guy. It was a different side of Paris, no dancing on tables or any "mean girls" action. We actually liked this new side to Paris that Josh is bringing out. Believe it or not, they make a cute couple and it actually seemed genuine.
Also at the party, and just a few tables away from Paris Hilton was her former BFF Kim Kardashian, who attended the party with her sister and was hanging out with pals including "Sons Of Hollywood" star David Weintraub.
Tensions were high when Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley entered the club. According to partygoers, no one wanted to say to Paris. All these camps are reportedly on bad terms with the heiress. One thing that was apparent was that all these everyone was trying very hard to avoid one another.
The highlight of our night was seeing Myspace founder Tom Anderson who has become a celebrity in his own right. This guy had more groupies than any other star in the house. Everyone wanted to take a 'myspace picture' with him, we couldn't resist asking either.
All in all, it was a great event, the only disappointment of the night was when DJ AM rudely denied a picture for our Hollyscoop cameras. If he wasn't so rude about it, we would have totally understood, not everyone wants their picture taken. That was the first and last time we ask him for anything...and that's the scoop from Complex.
