David Letterman Mocks Paris Hilton

While Paris Hilton was in NYC she visited "The Late Show" with David Letterman.

David spent most of the time mocking her jail stint and Paris didn't look like she was enjoying it. After the show, she reportedly said she will never visit him again.

Dave Letterman is the man! I love the fact he mocked her on the air, especially drinking her ner fragrance! That was hilarious! Must have smelt like vodka! And this woman actually wants kids!!! WOW! I think Letterman's comments were rude and inconsiderate, but at the same time, what was Paris thinking going on the Letterman show where she has been the butt of hundreds of jokes over the past several years. Paris Hilton has done very little to contribute to society and loves to be in the limelight. Some of you posters act like Dave was attacking Mother Teresa.

Paris Hilton did NOT fall out of a vehicle and she was NOT drunk 2 weeks ago. WTF are you talking about, you can't believe what some tabloids write. Are you stupid or something? Paris avoidede stepping in a puddle and she climbed the fence on her parents' property because she had no key. She could never have done this had she been drunk as alleged. Some people are always willing to believe the worst about others. Paris really does not even have to change herself a whole lot, she just needs to start suing the people who write lies about her.

This is a good example why the late Johnnie Carson did not want Letterman as his replacement on the Tonight Show. He said at the time that Dave's jokes had too much underlying hostility. Paris picked up on this and it hurt her feelings but, unfortunately, alcoholics do that. They can turn on you really quick. Paris came out looking good,though, the episode just made her more popular once again.

Paris has shown class and dignity. She knew he'd be tough and she prepared. She wanted to talk about her perfume and movie and charity work as well as rebuilding her image and life and David showed no r-e-s-p-e-c-t and tried to ridicule Paris for her past mistakes. It's easy and cheap to hit someone at their lowest. I know Mr. Letterman has class of his own and should have been more compassionate and noble with Ms. Hilton.

The segment was pre-taped earlier and Letterman seemed a little drunk from lunch. Which sober person guzzles down a bottle of perfume. The man is 60 years old for chrissakes. Paris Handled the situation quite well although Dave clearly annoyed her. But really, she comes out better looking than Letterman.
