Street teams will hand out $15 debit cards in Times Square and Chelsea from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. on New Years Eve, or until supplies run out.
Combs tells the New York Daily News, "New York is the world's most iconic New Year's Eve city, so let's lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn't just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely."
Last week Diddy tried to strike a $1 million dollar deal with the city of New York to have the famed New Year's Eve ball redesigned a shade of blue to match his Ciroc Vodka brand, but that was quickly shot down.
He seems really eager to get rid of a million dollars before the year is over. Either way, it's really cool of him to pay for everyone’s cab fares--so keep an eye out for his street team on New Years Eve!
