Did Owen Attempt Suicide or Just Overdose?

Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson was released from the hospital this past weekend. There were pics of him getting in and out of the car with absolutely no bandages in his arms. Didn’t he slit his wrists? Would his wounds heal so soon?

There have been contrary reports as to whether Owen attempted suicide or just overdosed. His lawyer insists that there was no overdose or drugs or any stomach pumping so go figure.

This is just gonna be one of those things where none of us will know what really happened except for him, unless they release the medical records. I’m sure people are already working on that one!

Owen Wilson did not try to kill him-self. The antidepressant poisones he was taking tried to kill him. Fortunately he survived. Antidepressants have a "black box label" warning. A "black box" warning is the most severe warning that the FDA requires on dangerous drugs. The "black box" warning for antidepressants is about the fact that taking them may cause you to kill your-self. That's right!. Taking antidepressants greatly increases your chance of committing suicide. whether you have ever had suicidal thoughts before, or not. Case in point! Owen Wilson Many of these antidepressant poisones are baned in other developed countries like England. Bottom line. Owen Wilson, and his family need to understand that he is suffering from the toxic effects of antidepressant poisons. And he needs to wean off those poisons very slowly over a period of 6-8 weeks or longer. Very gradually reducing his dosage until he is off those poisons. While he is weaning off those poisons. He may have to backup on reducing his dose for 3 or 4 weeks. Or just hold at a set dose for 3-4 weeks before continuing to wean off the drug. Many doctors will tell you that you don't need to wean slowly off of antidepressants. They are lier's. At best. Look up "antidepressant discontinuation syndrome". Just a fancy name for drug withdrawal. See, One of the MANY bad things that antidepressants do is turn off the self-control centers of the brain. Like alcohol. But without the obvious impairment you see with alcohol. So if a person on antidepressants gets very upset emotionally. And thinks about injuring them-self. They will act on it. When in fact. If they were not on those antidepressant poisons. They would never, ever act on a thought to hurt them-self. The toxic effect of antidepressants CAUSES people to have suicidal thoughts, hallucination's, and nightmares. That they would not have if they were not taking antidepressants. This is one of the ways the brain reacts when you poison it. Just ask any heavy alcohol drinker. Depression can be a very serious condition that should be treated. But I don't think that popping antidepressants is the way to do it. It's a bigger. More complex issue than can be solved, and cured with just daily pills. I would only use antidepressants in the most extreme. And severe case. And then only after all other known depression cures had been tried first. Like elimination or reduction of drugs known to cause depression. Like alcohol. And elimination, or treatment of any physical medical conditions that can cause depression like diabetes. Assuring healthy nutrition. Exercise, and rest. And a healthy life style. Stress reduction. And learning, and developing good coping skills. And positive conflict resolution skills. Light, or photo therapy to synchronize your internal circadian rhythms clock. And after all that. If medication was still needed. I would try some of the German preparations of St Johns Wart (Hypericum). Which has shown to be just as effective as antidepressants. But much safer. As has daily exercise. Last but not least finding and making a positive peace with your human mortality. And the limits of corporeal existence. I remember the little speech Owen Wilson had in the movie Armageddon with Bruce Willis. When Owen talked about the stars, and the universe. I realized he was not just acting. But had really thought about such things. Owen Wilson is a sensitive, thoughtful, emotionally intense man. This is a gift. Not a curse. But a person like Owen is the absolute highest risk individual to put on antidepressants. Or any substance that takes away to much of their self-control. I would not do it. It was the side effects of the antidepressants mixed with emotional upset that made him hurt him-self. But he will get over this. I wish him all the best Owen Wilson Fan....

Honestly, I think he relapsed and overdosed. He may have tried to cut his wrists, but like some reports suggested they were only superficial cuts. I think his people wanted to deflect attention from his drug abuse, so they helped incite the story of his suicide attempt. But if it were drugs, why then is he not in rehab?

Actually....the antidepressants may have been working. When someone is so depressed that they can't function, they are too emotionally and physically exhausted to kill themselves. However, once they begin antidepressant therapy they begin to feel better. At least enough to attempt suicide. It is a small but well known suicide window. When someone is suicidal and they begin treatment they must be closely supervised during this "window of wellness" when they regain the energy to implement a suicidal ideation. It is fact and verifiable. Perhaps he was taking the antidepressants and was even more depressed that anyone knew. There are no POISONS in antidepressants that cause suicide. The warning label is for the acutely depressed to be alert for the well known "wellness window" of suicidal behavior. POISONOUS antidepressants? Sounds like a Scientologist is preaching..... If his relationship with Kate Hudson is the "patsy" for an attempt at suicide then people need to realize that he clearly has issues much deeper than a break up.

It is so very easy for people to lose sight of the fact that at the end of the day Owen Wilson is a human being just like the rest of us - made up of the three main ingredients, head, heart and loneliness and as we are perfectly aware we are all indeed raw and exposed just beneath the emotional surface.
