Michael Seligman Named Supervising Producer for Academy Awards

Congrats to Michael B. Seligman, who has been named supervising producer of the 81st Academy Awards telecast, producer Laurence Mark and executive producer Bill Condon announced today.

“Michael’s expertise in putting together a mammoth live television production like the Oscars is invaluable,” said Mark and Condon in a joint statement.

With more than 300 major television events to his credit, Seligman specializes in producing live broadcasts throughout the world. Most recently, he served as producer of the “Stand Up to Cancer.”

Don't forget to tune into the Academy Awards, which will air live on ABC on February 22, 2009, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
