Spoiler alert! Oprah has already filmed her last show, and, according to audience members, it was pretty low-key.

No free cars, no parade of celebrities, the clouds didn't part. It wasn't quite the finale you'd expect for a show this big.

Oprah put together a compilation of past show highlights, commenting on them for the audience. She flashed back to her interview with writer/director Tyler Perry, who discussed his childhood physical and sexual abuse. Oprah related to Perry with her own history of abuse.

"Little by little we started to release the shame," Oprah said. She attributed the show's lasting twenty-five years to "My team and Jesus. I have felt the presence of God my whole life. All of us have the same voice. Be still and know it. It's always there and speaking to you."

And this whole time, I thought Oprah was God. The talk show host said to the audience: "I thank you for the hours you shared with me and all that we've learned together. I am truly amazed that I, who started in rural Mississippi, could end up here. It's not coincidence that a lonely little girl, who felt not a lot of love even though her parents and grandparents did the best they could, would grow up to feel the genuine kindness, trust and validation from all over the world. All of you, whose names I don't know – you and this show have been the great loves of my life."

As the tears began to flow, Oprah said: "I won't say goodbye, I'll just say until we meet again".

The show credits rolled, Oprah hugged her long-time boyfriend Stedman, picked up one of her dogs and yelled, "we did it!"

Meanwhile, hundreds of audience members wondered, "so, uh, no car, huh?"
