Last week we reported that Oprah had taken 2 trips to South Africa after allegations of sexual and physical abuse at her $40 million dollar all girls school emerged. This week Oprah broke down in tears to parents of the school apologizing for the recent alleged allegations.
"I've disappointed you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry," Winfrey, 53, said in the emergency meeting at the school.
A father of one of the students tried to comfort Oprah and responded, “It’s not your fault. We don’t blame you.”
There's already an investigation under way but Oprah has also hired her own investigators, in addition to the South African police and the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit who are on the case.
