Oprah's Greatest Show Moments

Well, there goes my chance at a free car. Oprah's last show will air Wednesday, and it was announced Tuesday that her last guest will be her absolute favorite person—herself!

Oprah will sit down with her audience and talk about her career, the show, and what it's all meant for her. And as we say goodbye, we're remembering our ten favorite Oprah moments.

Oprah's First Big Weight Loss: In 1988, Oprah dropped 67 pounds, and to celebrate, she brought a big bag of fat onto the set, to show people how much she was carrying around. It was the highest rated episode in the show's history.

Oprah Rips Into James Frey: After she exposed the fact that his memoir was pure fiction, Oprah told Frey she felt "duped" and regretted picking it for her book club. You don't lie to Oprah. You just don't.

Oprah Kills the Beef Industry: In 1998, when Oprah Winfrey invited a former cattle rancher on her show and exposed the gross practices in the beef industry, beef prices plummeted. A group of cattle ranchers sued Oprah, but to no avail. And thankfully, it's now illegal to feed cows other cows. What would we do without Oprah?

Oprah Gives Everyone a Car: Oprah took her generosity to a new level when she gave 276 audience members a brand new Pontiac G6 Sedan. The members were secretly handpicked by Winfrey's staff because each person needed a car. Oprah later received some flack because the winners had to pay $7,000 in taxes or give back the gift. Hey, there's only so much she can do!

Tom Cruise Can't Be Cool When Oprah invited Tom Cruise to her show in 2005, Cruise was intent on proving he really was in love with Katie Holmes. "I can't be cool!" Cruise yelled, then jumped on Oprah's couch. "I don't know what happened to you, boy," Oprah joked.

Oprah Has a Sister!: Oprah discovered her long, lost half-sister in 2010. Oprah's mother had given Patricia up for adoption when Oprah was nine, and when searching for her birth mother, Patricia found out she was the sister of Oprah but kept it secret because she didn't want to cash in on the fame. Her loyalty touched Oprah and she invited Patricia onto the show.

David Letterman is Finally on Oprah!: In 2007, Oprah and Letterman made up after an ongoing, mostly unspoken feud. Letterman constantly cracked jokes about Oprah on his late show and patronized her about wanting to go on the show. She finally took him up on the offer, and she was a guest on his show, too.

White Supremacists Walk Offstage Oprah invited a panel of white supremacists to her show in 1988. It would garner huge ratings and expose the ignorance of racism. Unfortunately, when they took the stage, the supremacists unleashed a slue of racist comments, promoted their agenda, and walked offstage. Did not see that coming.

Author Terry McMillian Confronts Gay Ex-Husband Oprah invited McMillian, who wrote How Stella Got Her Groove Back, to the show in 2005. Also on stage? McMillian's homosexual ex-husband, Jonathan Plummer. The couple got into a heated exchange, making for some pretty awkward moments.

Kirstie Alley's Weight Loss: Sick of seeing unflattering photos of herself in the tabloids, Alley hit the gym, and with some help from Jenny Craig, slimmed down. She showed off her new body on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2006, wearing nothing but a bikini. That'll show 'em!
