Oprah Tops Forbes' List of Most Influential Women in Media

Oprah is on top! She’s just topped a new list by Forbes, listing the most influential women in media.

Thanks to her dedicated fan base and amazing earning power, she beat out everyone else this year.

Forbes compiled their list of the Most Influential Women in Media based on four categories determining their influence: audience, press mentions, earnings and social media outreach.

The reason for Oprah’s ranking isn’t just her talk show; she has her own magazine, cable network, and satellite radio show.

A lot of other people owe their success to Oprah, including Rachael Ray, Gayle King, Dr. Phil, Nate Berkus, and Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Oprah beat out her competition this year by a long shot. She made $275 million this year! Coming in a distant second is Ellen Degeneres, who banked $35 million, and Tyra Banks is right behind her with $30 million.

She's worked hard to get to where she is, she deserves every bit of it. But Robbinlea, dear, Angie isn't in Media like Oprah, she's in her own Acting category because she is an actress NOT a talk show host like Oprah.
