Oprah has become involved in yet another legal battle. Luckily, this time, she on the suing end.
She and Dr. Mehmet Oz have launched a massive lawsuit against over 50 companies on allegations they used her to advertise their products without permission.
Oprah and Dr. Oz have teamed up to sue several web ads for products like cosmetics, such as anti-wrinkle creams, diet supplements and tooth-whitening kits. All of the ads feature Oprah and Oz's image, names and voices.
According to the suit filed yesterday in NY Federal court, the duo claim the company behind the ads are making money "on the false premise that [the products] have been tested or recommended by Miss Winfrey and/or Dr. Oz when they have not."
And Oprah also claims these ads are usually credit card scams! So watch your wallet! The lawsuit amount is unknown as of now, but sources tell
