When there is no one to help, all roads lead to Oprah. Dozens of Homeless activists and supporters spent Easter Sunday on a four-mile track by foot to Oprah Winfrey's estate in Montecito. The goal of the demonstration was to get attention and maybe some cash from the Talk Show Queen.
Some rolled along in wheelchairs, while others carried signs asking for awareness of lack of homeless shelters in the area. No word if Oprah was anywhere near her residence and there has been no comment from her representatives.
If the city has a problem why is it Oprah's? Just because she's famous and is a humanitarian doesn't mean she’s a cash machine.
