Blue Ivy Carter is not even five days old, and she’s already 1) laid down vocals on a Jay-Z track; and 2) gotten some free swag from none other than Oprah. And to think, some of us spent years trying to get on the ‘Favorite things’ show.

'The Insider' has learned that Oprah sent Beyonce’s baby, Blue Ivy, a trunk full of children’s books as a 'welcome to the world' gift. Appropriate, considering Oprah is a huge proponent for education, but still not quite as cool as those sequined UGG boots featured on her 2010 Favorite Things show. I really wanted to get in on that show, dammit.

Some people are famous for being talented, appearing in movies, or having chart topping albums. Other people get famous because they know a famous person. Whenever you have to ask yourself, "Why is this person famous?" that usually means that person is a celebrity by association.

These are the stars who only became famous because they associated with someone more famous than themselves.

Elisabetta Canalis: Oh Elisabetta Canalis, don't even get me started. Wikipedia claims she is an "Italian Actress" but let's be real, she's George Clooney's ex-girlfriend. Because George Clooney is essentially a lifelong bachelor, all of his girlfriends become full-fledged celebs simply by association because they seem so rare and special. Elisabetta dated George from June 2009 to June 2011 and now that they've broken up, she has graced more magazine covers that he does and is now appearing on "Dancing With The Stars" which really should be named "Dancing With The Stars Exes."

Want to make it on the Forbes annual list of the worlds most powerful women? Did you almost become president? Did you marry a guy who became president? Have you ever worn a meat dress and change your wig often?

If you cannot answer yes to any of those question, than you aren't Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, or Lady Gaga, three of the ladies that Forbes has listed as three of the worlds most powerful women.

Forbes, a company that counts other people's money for a living, just released its annual list of "World's 100 Most Powerful Women."

While the list also includes other important women who run companies and countries and have many piles of money, I'm only going to focus on the hollywood-types who made the list, because let's face it, Indra Nooyi the Cheif Executive of PepsiCo, I don't know who you are.

Maria Shriver was spotted out with Oprah in Beverly Hills last night. And while the paparazzi is usually more interested in upskirt shots of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, this is a special occasion.

According to RadarOnline, Maria is "very eager" to get back to work. A source says, "Maria wants the divorce to be final so she can get back to work, and move on with her life. All of the major networks have approached her, but she hasn't made any decision yet."
