PETA Hates the Olsens

The people over at PETA are so disappointed with mini moguls Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen that they've branded them "The Trollsen Twins."

PETA has made several attempts to get the pint size twins to stop wearing fur and using it in their fashion collection, but the Olsen's just won't budge.

The group is unveiling a campaign against Mary-Kate ("Hairy Kate," above) and Ashley ("Trashley") - with a tag line: "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People."

They need to take a breather from the Olsen’s and concentrate on Sharon Stone for a minute. I swear she's worn fur to every red carpet event in the last month straight.

What's the big deal about wearing fur? People kill animals in order to eat meat, to wear clothes, and to make furniture. If I could afford a mink coat, I would wear it. People can wear what they want.

Those PETA people are crazy. People should be allowed to wear what they want to wear and not be dictated to about it. Personally I am more concerned about human rights.

PETA or not, wearing fur is wrong. I'm sure none of you would like to see your dogs and cats skinned. It's not fair and not right, especially with so many other options out there. Stupid Olsens.

Regardless of whether or not I think its wrong or right to wear fur, I think it is wrong to persecute the Olsens for doing what they chose to do. I usually support what PETA tries to do but this is just too far.

They are NOT being persecuted, Q. Don't be silly. My dad paid my college tuition with money from his fur business, so I'm not against people wearing furs. Now, pretentious arseholes wearing fur in L.A. - I'm definitely against that. Reasonably priced fur makes sense for winter wear (I have fur earmuffs and fur mitts), but there's something nauseating about people killing animals strictly for "fashion."

I agree 100 precent Tasha. Animals are killed for our source of food, and furniture and car seats, and even things that you can't avoid like soap. So they have a lot of nerve busting on the Olsens when they voilate their own princials.

If PETA wants to fight with someone over this crap they should go to the actual source. The person that killed the animals in the first place. Not the people that choose to where them.

PETA has even gone to the dam chinese government to try to convince them to make animal rights laws for animals in that country including the ones killed for fur since China has the worst ways of torturing animals for fur.. PETA does not focus on just one thing or person. They have many causes which include cruelty of animals for food, clothing or like you said soap bars and other things that may involve vivisection. It doesn't seem like you know much about PETA and what they really do. As said in the article they attempted being nice to the trollsens but there was no cooperation on their end.. and exactly like you chose to attack me by saying what you said .. PETA chose to attack the olsens to get their point across.. what makes you think you have the right to attack someone for what they said (or their opinion) and PETA doesn't have the right to attack someone for what they wear??

La Chat, if my thoughts could be brought to reality...I would grab you out of no where while you're living your life in a 5x5 cage in your own feces and urine, I'd tie your feet and arms, duct tape your mouth shut, and have you hung from a structure made specially for this event. I would keep you fully awake and alert as I proceed to cut your skin with a nice sharp knife...After enough has been cut and I can get a good hold of your skin, I'd tear it off, as you're struggling for your life, and leave you to die in a garbage can full of other "people" like yourself. Your skin would then be used for things like a jacket for me, maybe some ear muffs as mentioned earlier, or some other things that "people" do with animal fur/skin. This goes for everyone who supports this crap, but specially for La Chat since she thinks Chiso smells....haha...

Chiso... First of all I never once would stop you from having a opinion. However you are trying to stop others from having their own opinions, because it does not co-inside with your own. Second their was a point to my question and it was not to insult you. It was to prove that you yourself in fact in danger animals everyday without even knowing it. Or perhaps you do know it and choose to look in the opposite direction for that moment in your life. I'm sure you take showers and wash your hands before you leave a bathroom especially public bathrooms. Well all that soap you use to kill of bacteria is made from animal fat and in order to make it you have to kill those animals. So lets face real facts here if we are not using the animals for the products in our daily life we are using the animals to test our products on and so that is the way of life intill we can find a alternative and PETA and any other organization that feels so passionate about these animals the way they do should be spending more time trying to find a successful alternative to our ways of life instead of attacking people that choose to buy these products and use them.

La Chat.. let's get one thing straight.. YOU DO NOT KNOW ME.. so where do you get off acting like you know what products I use for soap or that I endanger animals? I know a lot about animal cruelty and you better believe that I do not do anything to contribute to animal cruelty as you somehow dreamed up in your less than educated "mind". I don't eat meat or other animal foods, I don't have leather seats in my car as you said, I know very well what companies (like proctor and gamble) use animal testing for their products and I never purchase them, and I definately don't wear leather, wool or fur! and FYI there ARE alternatives to animal products you freak! So lets break this down for your feeble little brain.. I don't eat meat so I eat the alternative (Tofu, soy, veggies, beans etc.).. I don't wear fur.. there's an alternative to that too it's called fake or faux fur, as far as animal testing goes maybe you should read a book called "Slaughter of the Innocent" by Hans Ruesch where you will not only learn that animal testing is bullshit (since animals' immune systems and other bodily functions are completely different than humans') but also that there are (yup you guessed it) alternatives to vivisection as well!!! and the best part is that PETA didn't come up with all these alternatives.. it's just a fact that there are bountiful alternatives out there and people do not need to use animals for every dam thing.. especially not nasty clothing... furthermore, fur is not only bad for the animals it is really bad for our environment too.. they use these animals solely for their skin/fur.. so what happens to the carcass that is left behind?.. use your tiny ass brain La Chat and you JUST might figure out that they basically trash the rest of the body! and thats millions and millions of trashed carcasses. Think of all the chemicals used to keep those jackets, hats or shawls in tact just so some piece of shit like sharon stone can look even worse than she already does. omfg this pisses me off.. no im talking about the freaking fact that they wear fur...what pisses me off is the fact that PETA is trying to bully to people into doing what they want..ITS THE OLSENS CHOICE. i don't agree with wearing fur..usually it upsets me..but right now. peta upsets me more... they have no RIGHT to tell the girls what to do... Trying to embarrass and bully them into changing wouldnt be tolerated in schools..so why is it that grown men and women get away with it?
