Last night, Hollywood’s heartthrob Harry Styles of “One Direction” and former 'X Factor' UK star turned pop icon Olly Murs were hitting up the nightclubs in London. Probably causing Justin-Bieber-like levels of fandom, I’m sure, the dudes hit up The Rose Club and wrapped up the night around 3:00 a.m. at Jalouse.
The dudes kicked off their friendship after both appearing on “The X Factor” and Olly opened for One Direction on their recently wrapped North America tour.
However, when Olly and the One Direction guys are hanging out backstage, Harry Styles isn’t Olly’s first choice BFF.
“The one I get along with the most is Niall. He’s my best buddy in One Direction,” Olly tells Hollyscoop, “The other guys are quite chill. They nerfed me the other day, they like abused me with nerf guns!”
But Olly says that the band is sometimes too busy to hang out, “They are so busy. I don’t really spend much time with the guys, because they are always doing something…but they’re just great lads man, they’re just chill and relaxed. Just enjoying every minute of it, because there are thousands and thousands of girls that want their numbers.”
But give Olly some time to start his own US takeover, he calls his music “different than what’s out there at the moment” and describes it as “happy, cheerful, and good time music” and his first US single with rap group Chiddy Bang “Heart Skips A Beat” is already gaining buzz.
His album “In Case You Didn’t Know,” doesn’t release in America until September 25, 2012 but for our loyal Hollyscoop fans, we have a copy of the CD and we're giving it away to the biggest Olly Murs fan!
