You know that feeling you get when you're on an exclusive wait list for something like an Hermes bag or a kidney, and then one day whatever you're waiting for becomes available?
I can only imagine that's how all of the men in Hollywood felt when Olivia Wilde separated from her husband last winter.
At the mere age of 18, Wilde married the son of an Italian Prince, Tao Ruspoli, living in an actual castle and pursuing her acting career. But in March, Wilde filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."
"The trauma of the whole thing has been humbling, and for the first time, I'm a little bit wobbly," Wilde told Marie Claire. "But I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person."
Translate: "I'm hot, I'll be fine."
Wilde says that, despite the divorce, she and her ex still have a close relationship.
“Even though it didn't work, there's nothing I regret about any of it," she says. "We're friends; his family is my family."
Since the separation, Wilde has been linked to everyone from Bradley Cooper to Justin Timberlake. But when Hollyscoop asked Wilde about her love life, she told us she was "single. Happy, single."
Wilde has said that all the press "makes dating harder."
"You go on one date and everyone thinks you're dating," Wilde says.
That probably has something to do with the fact that it's called a "date."
