Last week, Don discovered that Charlie now works for the LAPD as a consultant. Don also told Agent McGowan (the steely Keith Carradine) that he will leave the Bureau if Charlie isn't reissued a security clearance. That probably wouldn't upset McGowan too much since he seems to loathe Don, which will make his decision all the more interesting when he hands it down tonight. Meanwhile, Don assists a veteran FBI agent (Henry Winkler) track an elusive con man who has evaded capture for years.

Elsewhere, Joan pursues her interest in David Shea, despite the objections of her friends.

Jennifer Love Hewitt must be experiencing a bit of déjà vu tonight: A college kid's death connected to a scary movie has attracted Melinda's attention, and her research into the case lets her know exactly what the film student did last summer. Seems the movie played on people's worst fears, but the horror didn't end after the cameras stopped rolling. Jonathan Murphy (October Road) guest stars.

If we can assume that the maverick Elizabeth has been marching to the beat of her own drummer for a long time now, she's no doubt encountered (and navigated) any number of professional pitfalls. But should this latest obstacle — serious accusations of jury tampering in the Ethan Foster case — prove insurmountable, she faces possible disbarment, and might even go to jail. Better drink that vodka while you can, counselor.

Of course, Charlie tries to decipher it. Everything is made even more complicated when Don learns the track's owner has ties to organized crime.
Snoop Dogg's Father Hood @ 8:30pm
Alas the last celebrity to join the reality show bandwagon...pot smoking conspicuously absent. Snoop introduces America to the Dogg family: his three kids and wife Shante, a.k.a. Boss Lady. Stressed from life as the most laid-back hip-hop icon in the world, Snoop searches for some non-herbal relaxation through yoga and acupuncture, but finds out that cleaning is more therapeutic. One big highlight: the amazing opening-credit theme song ("This ain't the Huxtables but we livin' comfortable/And I don't make my kids eat vegetables.") All in all, his finest performance since The Wash.
