Now that the forever 12-year-old who lives inside your soul found a stray minute to take a breath since hearing the rumors that *NSYNC will reunite at this year’s Video Music Awards, a member of the tribe has spoken.
Lance Bass was the first to address the possible reunion on his SiriusXM radio show, “Dirty Pop with Lance Bass,” yesterday. Here’s what he said:
“This morning I woke up to a lot of rumors flying [around] that the *NSYNC reunion is happening after 11 years at the VMAs this Sunday. Well, let me tell you how this all came about. Justin Timberlake is getting the Michael Jackson [Video] Vanguard Award this Sunday at the awards, so of course people are automatically going to think we’re going to be there performing. I knew these rumors were going to fly.”
It was an Instagram, like the one above, from Lance’s account, which helped fuel the reports. Members of the boy band got together in Miami to attend one of Justin’s concerts.
"It's amazing to see the reaction out there on Twitter and social media…[and] how many people are supporting *NSYNC," Lance added. "It's so nice to see because when we ended things [over] ten years ago, there was no social media, there was no Twitter [fanbase]."
