Ever since Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough broke up with their significant others, they’ve been spending all their time together. It’s almost like they planned it that way…hmmm.
One look at either girls’ Instagram account and it’s clear that they are besties, BFFs even. We might even call them soul sisters, future maids of honor, sisters from another mister...the list is endless.
In the new issue of Cosmopolitan, Nina clears up the misconception that she and Julianne only have their breakups in common, but rather that they HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON.
“That’s not what our friendship is about,” Nina says of the public’s obsession with both girls’ similarly timed single status, “Unfortunately, that’s how it’s perceived, but there’s more to us. People aren’t defined by their relationships. The whole point is being true to yourself and not losing yourself in relationships, whether romances or friendships.”
Nina also wants you to know that she and Julianne are totally chill and their bond is based on a genuine connection.
“It’s been cool to find an active buddy [in Julianne] – there are lots of girlie girls around. We don’t talk about makeup; we talk about life.”
Nina. Real. Deep. Never talks about makeup. "The Vampire Diaries" returns to the CW this fall.
