Nicole Sherzinger on ‘X-Factor’: We're Looking for Something Different
HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE

“I am in love with the judges,” Sherzinger told Hollyscoop while celebrating her birthday at Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. “I love Paula, L.A. is a force to be reckoned with. Simon is Simon. Kind of brilliant.”
Looks like she already found out how to get on his good side. Sherzinger also hinted there’s the usual verbal drama between the ex Idol judges:
“I get a front row ticket to the Paula and Simon show,” she told us. “I love it.”
And while she’s excited about the show’s debut, Sherzinger tells us there’s a lot more on her plate: “I can’t wait to perform. I have my album, Killer Love, coming out in the fall, and my single, Right There featuring 50 Cent out now.”
With the X-Factor set to debut on September 21, it’s going to be a spotlight filled Fall for Sherzinger. Nicole tells us that the show isn’t looking for the typical, cliché performer.
“Were looking at contestants that don’t fit the typical stereotypical mode of what artists are supposed to be like today,” Sherzinger tells us.
“We’re looking at people from all ages, from all different walks of life, different stories, people who come from the south or the Midwest and have so many kids and are 50 years old and didn’t think they have a chance, well they have a chance now.”
I’m no psychic, but I foresee another hit for Fox.
