Yes, Nicole Richie Is Pregnant

After weeks and weeks of speculation, Us Weekly is jumping on the 'confirmation' bandwagon and reporting that Nicole Richie is in fact preggers.

“She is extremely excited right now,” a source close to the star says.

According to reports, Richie shared the good news with her mom Brenda, and close friends in early May, after a pregnancy test came up positive.

Like we had previously reported , Nicole and her boyfriend Joel Madden are also planning a trip down the aisle. Joel and his brother Benji recently went shopping for an engagement ring.

Joel's older brother Josh Madden tells s, “Nicole is awesome. I would love for them to get married!”

Does this mean Nicole is actually going to start eating food now?

I will believe this when I hear her say it herself. Neithertheless, it doesn't surprise me none. She doesn't want a baby because of the maternal feeling, more so to keep her out of prision-atleast that is what she is hopeing.

Wait, they've only been together for 6 months! is that even enough time to fully decide this is the man/woman for me? I mean finding out the results of an HIV/AIDS test takes 6 months. Do they even know each other, long enough? This is crazy, how Hollywood defines love, marriage, and babies...I'm baffled!

she is 'pregnant' but as soon as she has been let off with a light sentence, she will suddenly suffer a very convenient 'miscarriage'..... all of these people are so press manipulative I would not put it past her to fake the pregnancy to get out of being jailed.

I do worry about this unborn child. With a history of drugs and alcohol and anorexia, this baby will come out really small, if at all. I don't wish any negativity toward them, but it's hard to believe she'd be able to carry a healthy child.

I won't believe this until she admits it herself. I swear, she is putting up all of these "sources" to lie about it, it's all a prank to stay in the public eye (which she was recently fading from). And it seems to be working! The clue here is that she knew in "early May". That is several weeks before that drunken Memorial Day party. Imagine is she WAS preggers and had all that alcohol!

Doubtful she is pregnant. Don't think she has enough body fat to even mensturate which is necessary to get pregnant! Remember seeing all those National Geographic pic of children with skinny arms legs and a pooch belly? Looks alot like a "baby bump". Her belly is a result of her being extremely underweight and malnourished!

I am so happy for her. I bet they will have a beautiful baby and I hope they have a loving family too. Maybe this is what she needed to start taking care of herself. Everyone makes mistakes and maybe this will help her clean up her act. Congratulations Nicole and let me know if you need a co-star or assistant...peace :P
