Part Time Parents? - Nicole Richie

New parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden may be gushing about their newborn daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden and how much they enjoy being parents to the weekly mags, but as soon as night falls, it's party time!

During Grammy weekend, Nicole and Joel hit up four parties in a span of two days and last weekend Richie and Madden once again left their little tot at home to party with Joel's brother Benji and Lindsay Lohan at Teddy's nightclub at the Roosevelt Hotel.

They weren't in a hurry to go home either! They stayed at the club until the lights came on. "It's almost as if they aren't parents," said a spy.

Close friends of Nicole's were wondering how she was going to handle motherhood, especially because she was a wild-child party girl for most of her life. Close friends of Nicole also have to realize that people do grow up so maybe she's just finally growing up. Those 'close' friends are probably pissed cause Nicole doesn't wanna party with them anymore.

"Loo Loo" Britney had already had her kids restricted from her before her crazy show because of her partying. This is the same thing! No difference well except Nicole has her baby daddy with her. Britney's kids was in safe hands when she was going out what was the problem? Just my opinion they are no different!

Wow, they are celebs who are going out! Are these the same spys who sold a pic of baby 'Harlow' to the press? People like Nicole have to get so many column inches a week, which Agents push on their clients. Harlow is in safe hands, so whats the problem??

Some here have NO IDEA what they are talking about and I highly doubt that you have children of your own. They are a big responsibility and if you are not grown up enough to take on that responsibility- then dont' procreate~! Simple enough. Sure another fam. member could have been watching the babe, but seriously, leaving a 1-month old for a whole weekend of partying? Please!... obviously she is not nursing- if so, you can't be away from an infant that young more than 2-3 hrs. Other than that, speaking from personal expierence, as a mom - there was NO WAY I WANTED to leave my children for that long when they were that young, most of us moms won't leave our children like that until 6+ months!... These celebs absolutely "kill me" in the way they go about "child rearing"- it's like they just think, Oh- what fun- I'll have a baby and be able to dress it up pretty and go out and have the photogs. take pics. of us as a happy "fam", when all along they are not caring for/rearing the child- that's too much "work" for them- that's left to the "help"... sad, sad, sad- don't have them if you are not prepared to seriously take care of them, or better yet- adopt them out to brangelina, at least that way they'll be cared for in a loving, fun-filled environment! Stupid "celebs"!

Nicole and Joel's daughter was with her grandma. I wasn't aware it was a crime for grandparents to take care of their granddaughter/grandson. And hahahaha, a spy? Yes, these so called 'sources' are so reliable *rolls eyes* Oh people are so ridiculous.

what am i wrong about? she got her kids taken away after locking herself and jayden in the bathroom for four hours. not going out... she'd stopped going out for months before they were taken away from her (rightfully so) and by "going out" i mean, going to clubs at night, partying w/ random men, ect. the bi-polar stufff is a different subject. asooo, what am i wrong about again?

anyone who is a parent knows how hard it is especially those first few months. many of us only wish we could do this kind of shit. i do have to say though, that even when you go out, you can't enjoy yourself too much because babies don't care how much you partied or had to drink the night before. if they're hungry or cranky at 5am, your ass better be up. but seriously, is anyone surprised by this report?
