Paris Thrilled for New Mom Nicole

This morning we reported that Nicole Richie is a changed woman thanks to her rocker beau/future baby daddy Joel Madden.

Now her fake bff/frenemy Paris Hilton is talking to the press about Nicole's pregnancy and how she thinks that Nicole is going to be the 'best mom ever.'

She tells People.com, "She's really happy. I just got off the phone with her. She's so excited. (Nicole and Joel) are really in love. I know she's going to be the best mom ever."

We rarely see Nicole out anymore, she doesn't go club hopping and we haven’t seen her on a marathon-shopping spree for a while. Do you guys think Nicole really has changed or is it just for good press?
