No Special Treatment For Nicole Richie

Things are not looking good for Nicole Richie. Although Nicole's court date was set for tomorrow, her lawyer went in there this morning with one last attempt to postpone the trial.

She wanted to postpone the trial until August 5th because Nicole's "expert witness" would not be able to testify until then.

The Commissioner however was not having it. He did not grant Richie the continuance she wanted and was even visibly upset that they were there asking. Talk about no special treatment, they seem to be treating celebs worse than the GP(General Public).

The Commissioner ordered all parties in court tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM. Wonder if Nicole will show up to court tomorrow since she did fly to Canada to attend her man's show tonight.

Update:
So this Nicole Richie drama keeps getting weirder and weirder. The LA District Attorney's Office made an announcement that the "The trial will not happen (Wednesday)...Richie's attorney filed a motion ... stating that their key witness, a drug expert, was unavailable for trial."

The Commissioner Steven Lubell denied Richie's attorney's request for a new trial start date of Aug. 5, but he wants both sides to be in court tomorrow to argue over why the trial should be postponed again. Oh and Nicole DOES NOT need to be in court tomorrow so she can rest easy and enjoy Joel's show in Canada.

That is what she gets for jetting off and assuming she was going to get another 3 weeks of playtime in before her trial- she tempted fate and LOST.

LOSER! If celebs are supposedly our role models, then they should be treated harsher than the GP!! Why not? It would help the GP learn to behave by using them as an example. We use them for examples on everything else........can't stand this do nothing girl anyway.

Her second DUI within 10 years is suppose to mean jail time. I wonder what they do about pregnant with morning sickness that lasts all day? Will jail food be changed for a pregnant woman since the reccomended diet requires a lot of protein and carbs for a healthy baby. Paris described the jail food as "mystery meat" and bologna sandwiches. I bet the expert witness is a RD and will discuss the probability of a fetus not surviving or being born with problems due to lack of proper nutrition.

You would think after what happened to her friend, she would show up in court dancing a jig if the judge wanted her to. She's facing some real time. Most folks would be scared not jetting off to a concert.

Nicole Richie is a untalented nobody who got famous only because Paris put her on HER show because her sister did not want to do it.It is pretty sad to be famous only because you get skinny and no talent.She needs to go to jail. She is a drug addict and admits it.
