Oh oh, it's the battle of the new moms! Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie gave birth just hours apart in the same maternity ward of the same hospital.
Weeks later they both had lucrative contracts with People magazine for the exclusive rights to their babies first photos. Rumor has it that Aguilera got around $1.5 million for the photos, and Nicole got a little less.
Looks like People should have dished out the extra dough for Nicole because her issue flew off the stands. Nicole's issue is on target to sell more than 1.8 million copies, while Christina's is said to have sold far less. The magazine wouldn't confirm the numbers because it's 'too soon' to know exact sales.
