What's with all these magazines giving out 'Mother of the Year' awards? Nicole Richie has only been a mum for 5 months but she's already being rewarded with a Golden Pacifier Award from Babytalk Magazine.
Babytalk Magazine's editor-in-chief Lisa Moran says, "Honoring Nicole Richie with a Babytalk Golden Pacifier Award might come as a surprise to some, but we felt that she deserved some recognition for her turnaround since becoming a mom.
"She's grown up a lot since the arrival of little Harlow, and her creation of the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation has demonstrated her efforts to set a good example by shining a spotlight on important issues affecting today's families."
There's no doubt that Nicole is a changed woman, and we commend her, but all these 'Mother of the Year' and 'Golden Pacifier' awards need to stop! If Dina Lohan is being awarded 'Mother of the Year' you know there's something wrong!
