Nicole Richie should be getting nervous as her court date is getting closer. The judge ordered Nicole to stand trial on July 11. Nicole is a bit more screwed than Paris since she has a prior DUI. The tiny starlet can face a minimum of 5 days and a max of one year in prison if convicted. These judges haven’t been the nicest to celebrities these days so we really don’t know what’s gonna happen, unless she’s pregnant. Now, that would definitely change things!
Los Angeles District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said: "Commissioner Steven Lubell did not want any more delays. The trial is now set for July 11. It must happen within 10 days of that date or Richie must enter a plea."
Richie's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, didn’t think the judge ordering a court date was such a big deal saying, "Judges are under orders to get things moving. Nothing extraordinary happened today. The case had been set for trial on the 25th and I'm going on vacation on the 28th. He just said no further continuances without good cause. He vacated the trial and set a new date."
This summer has been quiet a summer for Young Hollywood. Paris goes to jail, Lindsay goes to rehab, and Nicole might go to jail too. What's next?
