Nicole Richie must be hearing how the jail house life isn’t so 'simple' from her bff Paris Hilton. Last night the starlet was on “The Late Show” with David Letterman talking about how she didn't want to face the slammer...well duh!
"I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. "I'm scared, but, you know, I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I've done."
If y'all remember Nicole got a DUI in February when cops stopped her from driving on the wrong side of the freeway. Since Nicole already had a 2003 misdemeanor DUI conviction, under California law she may be sentenced to jail between 90 days to a year.
In regards to her possible jail sentence, Nicole added, "I really try and take everything that I go through as a life lesson and I try not to make the same mistake twice." Well she obviously didn't learn her lesson the first time around, maybe the third time's a charm.
In regards to her co-star/ bff, Nicole says that she hasn’t spoken to Paris since she checked into Lynwood. What do you guys think, will Nicole get star treatment or be thrown in jail to teach others a lesson?
