Nicole Richie Gets Leave of Absence

Mom-to-be Nicole Richie was awarded a leave of absence from her court ordered anti-drinking driving class because she's getting too big for the class.

A rep for Richie confirms, "Anyone who is pregnant or has medical issues can leave the class.

"It wasn't Nicole asking - she just showed up one day and the paparazzi were chasing her and she was exhausted. So the director of the program was concerned for her and suggested she take a leave of absence. She didn't get special treatment."

No special treatment? Um...she's only served 1 month out of the 18-month course. I'm assuming her 82 minutes in jail wasn't 'special treatment' either right? I bet she isn't even going to finish off the classes after she gives birth.
