Nicole Richie Gets Into A Fight With Fan

Word to the wise: Don't mess with Nicole Richie! Richie got into a confrontation with a woman outside a NY nightclub the other night when the fan attempted to take her picture.

Apparently the incident happened after Richie left a New York Fashion Week party hosted at Country Club by designer Charlotte Ronson.

"A young, Swedish tourist was trying to take her photo. Richie shouted, 'I'm not an animal' then jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl's hand, and smashed it to the ground," reports PageSix.

Damn, that's pretty harsh. We understand getting annoyed by paps snapping your photo, but smashing a tourist’s camera was a bit much!

Wow, this story sounds like of silly!! "I'm not an animal??" I don't blame Nicole though. Maybe she was just having a bad night or something. I would have asked her permission first. In fact, I saw her and Joel with Harlow in Providence and held off taking pictures because I felt like one of the "stalkarazzi." It must get so annoying have a camera in your face all the time. She probably just lost her cool, If it really happened.
