Nicole Richie Debuts First Photo of Son Sparrow

Little Sparrow just got his big debut. Nicole Richie introduced her 6 week old son Sparrow Midnight James Madden to the world by being featured with him on the cover of People magazine, and he's absolutely adorable!

"I couldn't be happier," Nicole tells People. "The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I'm right where I belong."

Nicole admits that her and rumored husband Joel Madden are "sleep deprived" but luckily, Sparrow's big sister Harlow has been helping Mommy with diaper duty.

"I'm glad I had a girl before I had a boy," says Richie. "She just loves him so much." Adds Joel, "She's very gentle with him."

It's hard to believe that Nicole is the same wild child we watched on TV just a few years ago. Motherhood really suits her well!
