Nicole Richie says she was "pleasantly surprised" to be released
after serving 82 minutes of her four day jail sentence...no shit! I'd be 'pleasantly surprised' too.
"Nicole was aware that most people with sentences similar to hers are booked and released in a matter of hours and she was hoping to be treated like everyone else," attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said in a statement. "Nevertheless, she was prepared to serve her entire four-day sentence had the Sheriff's Department required her to do so."
Richie showed up to Lynwood on Thursday at 3:15pm accompanied by boyfriend/baby daddy
Joel Madden only to be released at 4:37pm.
"Of course, she was pleasantly surprised to be released so quickly," said Nicole’s Lawyer.
Surprisingly, Paris Hilton was out shopping for Nicole's unborn child while Nicole was at the slammer. You know deep down Paris is pissed off that Nicole got off so easy--hell I would be too!
