Star magazine is reporting that
Nicole Richie and
Joel Madden got into a huge fight, which resulted in Nicole packing up her things and moving out. She moved back in the next day though.
"This was her way of sending Joel a message," says the pal.
"Nicole loves him, but things need to change."
Apparently Nicole and Joel have been fighting for months and Nicole finally had enough and tried to teach him a lesson.
To make matters worse, Joel was photographed partying with
Mischa Barton lately. Nicole and Mischa used to be really good friends, but they hardly speak anymore. These celebrities’ lives are like soap operas. You'll just have to tune in next week to see if their relationship lasts or if Nicole and Joel will be back on the singles market.
