Lionel Richie is speaking out about his daughters weight problems. Lionel had urged Nicole Richie to seek counseling in regards to her weight issued when she dropped to around 90 lbs. At her height 5'2, 90 pounds is considered extremely thin. When the "Simple Life" star announced her decision to seek treatment for her weight issues, those close to her were relieved.
Lionel tells People magazine, "She's gonna be fine. She's worrying me to death, but she's gonna be okay."
Meanwhile we hear the producers of her reality series, "The Simple Life", which was scheduled to resume production Nov. 6, have agreed to delay shooting until she is fit for duty. There is also buzz in Hollywood that Nicole might sign a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to star in a sitcom inspired by her life. "She's got great charisma," says Fox TV studio president Dana Walden. "Everyone is always rooting for her."
We hope Nicole gets the help she needs and hopefully those "Runaway Rehab" rumors are really just rumors. The stalkarazzi managed to capture some pictures of Nicole, but other than her face, you can't see much.
