Joel Madden Plans to Marry Nicole Richie

'Good Charlotte' frontman Joel Madden isn't keeping his future plans of marrying Nicole Richie a secret. He had already let the cat out of the bag last month when he appeared on Live with Regis Philbin and this morning he confessed that marrying Richie was apart of his master plan.

"Obviously, marriage is in our future," Madden told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning. "I don't know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby."

When asked if they know the sex of the baby Joel replied, "No, we are waiting. We don't even know. So right now it's an it. Which sounds wrong. We call it the baby. When we talk to it, it's a you," Madden said.

Madden also revealed that the baby has already started kicking, and the couple is getting everything ready, including the nursery. "We've started it'," he said. "I already went to Target and got a stroller and a playpen." The couple recently went on a baby shopping spree in NYC picking up thousands of dollars worth of newborn goodies.
