Slumdog Actress to Star in Commercial with Nicole Kidman

Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali is continuing on the road to stardom and has even landed a major commercial with a major superstar--Nicole Kidman!

The eight-year old actress will star alongside Kidman in a new commercial for a soft drink that will be directed by Ridley Scott.

Speaking about his daughters new commercial, Rafiq Ali says, "We are very proud of her and hope she continues to become a big star. Maybe then we will be able to live in a proper house.

"She was paid more for the ad than the movie."

Rubina's a little superstar in the making! It's great that she's able to help provide her family with better living conditions, but we're always still a little skeptical with child actors in the biz.

Let's hope her humble beginnings help her stay true to herself when she finally moves to Hollywood.
