Nicole Kidman Loves Her Cigarettes

Nintendo is not only for the younger generation and that is what 40-year old Nicole Kidman is trying to prove as the new spokesperson for Nintendo.

In more Nicole Kidman news, the actress reveals that she will not give up her smoking habit. Who knew she even smoked?

She says "you have to enjoy life a little." good.

She tells Closer magazine, "Yes, I smoke cigarettes - but only occasionally. It's an addiction and I'd say anybody to who was going to start: 'Don't!' But you have to enjoy life a little, don't you?"

most of these a-list celebrities smoke cigs. brad pitt, jennifer aniston. salma hayek even smoked until recently. but i have to admit i didnt think that nicole kidman would be a smoker

this isn't going to go to well with her perfect little image that she's worked so hard to put out to the public. "But you have to enjoy life a little, don't you?" Ever hear of second hand smoke Nicole? And considering what her husband just when through, this is a pretty cold statement. I'm sure her PR people will be working overtime to squash this.

I think this was from an old interview they just recycled. I heard her in a radio interview in England and she said she has given it up. And it's not a habit if you smoke occasionally.

Regardless if this may be an older statement (though I do recall seeing photos of her smoking at the Cannes Film festival and a behind the scenes of a recent movie bumming a cigarette off one of her co-stars), what kind of statement is that to make: "you have to enjoy life a little"? That's fine if you're talking about traveling or reading a book, but not about smoking. What a thoughtless statement and not a very good roll model for the kiddies. And do you really think she would admit to still smoking? I bet she probably got raked over the coals for this statement. Or at least she should have. And as far as this TV Ad? Could it be anymore phoney? I know I certainly play games in full hair and make-up.

I don't see anything about smoking to enjoy. She said enjoy life. You can die from lung cancer smoking so you would not have a life to enjoy would you?

I think nicole is too smart to be smoking these days after all her father was in cancer research and he has been a great roll model for her.
